‘CAT PACK STUDENT SECTION T-SHIRT DESIGN WINNER ANNOUNCED

DURHAM, N.H. – The annual ‘Cat Pack Student Section T-Shirt Design Contest winner was crowned this spring.  All students were eligible to compete in each contest by attending athletic events throughout the year and submitting t-shirt designs to adorn the back of the ‘Cat Pack t-shirt for the 2013-14 academic year. 

The annual ‘Cat Pack Super Fan t-shirt design contest took place over the past two weeks, which gave students the opportunity to submit their creations.  Five designs were voted on by the student body.  Voting took place online and at voting booths located in the MUB.  Almost 700 votes were submitted and the winning design came from junior marketing major Chloë Swift of Meredith, N.H.  Her “Live Wild or Die” design captured 59% of the votes and will adorn the backs of the ‘Cat Pack Super Fans at all athletic events next year. 

The t-shirt design contest runner-up is junior marketing major Jake Shillue for his “I Believe in UNH” design.  Additional designs were submitted by junior marketing major Alyssa Johnson, sophomore marketing major Briana Proctor, and freshman mechanical engineering major Luke Morenz.

The ‘Cat Pack is UNH’s official student section for all athletic events.  Students who show their Wildcat pride and attend UNH games receive points and are automatically entered to win various prizes throughout the year.  This past year’s grand prize winners brought home a brand new iPad, New England Sports Prize Pack, and an autographed UNH Men’s Hockey Jersey. The ‘Cat Pack is housed by The Cheney Company; “Seacoast NH’s finest apartment living”.
