The Green Alliance has a two-fold mission; to encourage local businesses to green their products and practices and to educate the consumer about why they should support those businesses that have gone "green.  The Green Alliance currently has more than 60 local green Business Partners from Portland to Newburyport, 600 consumer co-op members or "Green Card" holders and 10,400 subscribers to the GA newsletter.
