Beliveau, McNally named Jim Urquhart Student-Athletes of the Year

UNH Ranks Third In America East Conference Commissioner's Cup Standings
CAMBRIDGE, Mass.- The University of New Hampshire currently ranks third in the America East 2011-12 Stuart P. Haskell Jr. Commissioner’s Cup standings. The Commissioner’s Cup honors the most successful athletic program in the America East based on a scoring system that rewards schools for success in regular season and championship play across the leagues 20 sports.

UNH Program to Support Military Veterans Goes National; More than 30 colleges participating in Operation Hat Trick
DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire is proud to announce Operation Hat Trick (OHT), a program that first started at UNH four years ago and will now generate royalties to support respective schools and the Veteran’s Administration General Post Fund, is launching nationally. Beginning Feb. 1, alumni, fans, and supporters of more than 30 colleges and universities across the country will be able to purchase officially licensed caps that support their university and our American military veterans.

UNH Atop America East, Finishes 76th in Learfield Sports NACDA Directors’ Cup Standings
DURHAM, N.H. – The National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics recently announced that the University of New Hampshire ranks 76th out of more than 280 Division I universities in the Learfield Sports NACDA Directors’ Cup final standings. UNH’s 242.50 points puts them above any other America East school and ranks the Wildcats sixth among FCS teams.

Michelle Bronner Hired as Senior Associate Athletic Director for Compliance/SWA
DURHAM, N.H. -- The University of New Hampshire athletic department announced Monday that Michelle Bronner (SUNY New Paltz ’92) has been hired as Senior Associate Athletic Director for Compliance/Senior Woman Administrator. She joins the Wildcats after serving as Director of Compliance/SWA at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, Fla. since 2005. Bronner has over 10 years of experience in collegiate compliance.
