, Mass. – Boston College used a five-goal second period to erase a 3-0 deficit and capture an 8-6 win over the fifth-ranked University of New Hampshire men’s ice hockey team on Saturday night in Hockey East action in front of 5,417 at Conte Forum.
 
UNH falls to 4-4-2 overall with a 2-2-2 mark in Hockey East, while BC is now 6-3-1, 4-2-1 HE.

, Mass. – UMass-Lowell scored eight goals including three in the first and third periods to capture a decisive, 8-3, win over fifth-ranked University of New Hampshire men’s ice hockey team on Friday night at Tsongas Arena. UNH moves to 4-3-3 with a 2-1-2 record in Hockey East, while the River Hawks are now 4-4-0, 2-2-0 HE.
 
UMass-Lowell’s Kory Falite recorded his first career hat trick and added an assist, while Matt Ferreira scored a pair of two goals. UNH's Danny Dries (Lake Orion, Mich.) matched a career high with two goals for the Wildcats.

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Brian Foster (Pembroke, N.H.) stopped a season-high 39 shots including four in overtime to help the fifth-ranked University of New Hampshire men’s ice hockey team skate to a 2-2 tie with No. 4 Minnesota on Friday night in front of a sellout crowd of 10,246 at Mariucci Arena. UNH moves to 4-1-3, while the Gophers are now 4-0-3.
 
Foster recorded double figure saves in each of the first three period, while Minnesota’s Alex Kangas turned away 37 shots including 15 in the first stanza.

WAKEFIELD, Mass. – On Thursday, the Hockey East Association announced the first honoree in the league’s 25th Anniversary celebration as Providence College’s Chris Terreri was named Hockey East’s Top Goalie in a vote comprised of Hockey East fans and members of the league’s 25th Anniversary Committee. The Wildcats were the best represented team in the Top 10 list with three netminders honored: Mike Ayers (UNH, 2000-04), Ty Conklin (UNH, 1998-2001) and Kevin Regan (UNH, 2004-08).

Terreri, however, also has ties to UNH as he played at Providence College with Associate Head Coach David Lassonde, while UNH Head Coach Dick Umile and Associate Head Coach Scott Borek were on the coaching staff at PC.
