Football Passes Spring Midpoint, Backs Marrow Test
The UNH football team hit the halfway point of its Spring Football sessions midway through practice on Thursday morning. The Wildcats have eight of their 15 practices in the books and go again on Saturday morning. Spring Football concludes with the annual Blue-White game on May 2.

Ribbon Cutting Held for Watkins Center for Student-Athlete Excellence
DURHAM, N.H. – UNH held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Tuesday to formally open the Watkins Center for Student-Athlete Excellence at the UNH Field House. The opening of the $1.9 million dollar academic center included a reception attended by the dignitaries and partners that made the privately funded project possible, along with the student-athletes who will benefit from the facility.

Men’s Hockey Alum Moses Among First 15 Named to 2015 U.S. Men’s National Team
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Former University of New Hampshire men’s hockey player Steve Moses (’12) was one of 15 skaters to be named to the 2015 U.S. Men’s National Team that will compete at the 2015 International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) Men’s World Championship in May. USA Hockey made the announcement Tuesday.

Athletes, Community Rally Against Violence
Members of the University of New Hampshire community stepped out against violence last week and the large crowd that took a stand and rallied and walked through campus included numerous athletes, coaches, staff and administrators from the athletics department. The fifth annual rally was part of the Sexual Harassment and Rape Prevention Program’s (SHARPP) recognition of April as Sexual Assault Awareness month.

The top guy last year caught an even 100 passes to set a UNH single season record and finished with 1,551 receiving yards for the season which tied David Ball for the best mark in school history. Now R.J. Four members of the men’s team were victorious in the 4x1,500-meter relay while Jessica Salley (Andover, Mass.) took third in the high jump.
