Arling Lifts ‘Cats to 2-1 OT Victory at Binghamton

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. – Sophomore forward Chris Arling (Windham, N.H.) scored in the 92nd minute of play to lift the University of New Hampshire men's soccer team to a 2-1 overtime victory at Binghamton University Saturday night.

Arling recorded his 12th goal of the season in the 92nd minute of play to lift the men's soccer team to a 2-1 victory in overtime. The play was started by Wingate who sent a long pass over the top into the box for Arling. He settled the ball and blasted a shot into the net for the win.
--Second Half—
Binghamton took a 1-0 lead in the 61st minute of play on a goal by Novoth. He scored on a free kick from 20 yards out.
With just 41 seconds remaining in regulation, Picoux tallied his second goal of the season on a free kick from just outside the box to force the game to overtime, tying it at 1-1.
