GNARLZ VISITS GILLETTE STADIUM IN ANTICIPATION OF COLONIAL CLASH
DURHAM, N.H. - In anticipation of the highly touted Colonial Clash collegiate football game, University of New Hampshire mascot Gnarlz attended a preseason Patriots game last night.
Gnarlz posed with rival mascot Sam the Minuteman and interacted
with fans in order to further promote the first ever collegiate
football game to be played in Gillette Stadium. The game will
take place on Saturday, October 23 between UNH and UMass. The
two teams have played each other every year since 1952. UNH
captured the 2008 game, 52-21, while UMass won a thriller last
season, 23-17. The annual rivalry almost always has a direct
bearing on the Colonial Athletic Association championship chase as
UMass and UNH have captured or shared the conference's North
Division title each of the last six years.
UNH fans are encouraged to purchase tickets through the Whittemore Center Office by calling (603) 862-4000 x5 in order to sit in the UNH section. Tickets may also be purchased via Ticketmaster.com by clicking here.
There will be a UNH pre-game reception held in the Fidelity Investment Clubhouse Lounge West exclusively for Wildcat fans. All fans are encouraged to attend this special event. To purchase tickets to the reception, click here.
