DURHAM, N.H. -- The Athletic Alumni Challenge announced in the winter Cat Tracker is now well underway, with alumni from every athletic program competing to notch the highest percent participation rate for gifts to any area within The Wildcat Fund.
While it is still anyone’s race to win, as of May 8 the ski program is in the lead with 36.8 percent of its alumni making gifts. In second place is swimming and diving (19.6 percent), and men’s hockey (17.5 percent) round out the top three. Football Men’s Basketball, Field hockey, cross country/track & field and lacrosse are all within striking distance. To see how your team is doing in the competition, please see the chart.
The top three alumni groups with the highest percentage of alumni giving will receive bonuses of $2,500, $1,500, and $1,000 respectively, that will go directly to their Friends Groups.
If you are an athletics alum, all you have to do to participate is make a gift of any size to any designation within The Wildcat Fund (sport specific Friends Group, Athletic Director’s Priorities, or Athletic Scholarships) by June 30, the end of the fiscal year.
Gifts can be made online at www.unh.edu/supportathletics or sent via check or credit card to: Athletics Development, Field House, 145 Main St., Durham, NH 03824. Help increase our alumni participation and enable your team to earn these bonus rewards. Time is running out!
