96 UNH Student Athletes Named to America East Academic Fall Honor Roll
FULL LIST OF UNH - AMERICA EAST ACADEMIC FALL HONOR ROLL
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The University of New Hampshire athletic department led the America East with 96 student-athletes named to Academic Fall Honor Roll, the conference announced Thursday. Of those Wildcats, 52 received further distinction to the Commissioner’s Roll.
Student-athletes had to earn a grade point average of 3.0 or higher in the Fall 2011 semester to receive Honor Roll recognition while a 3.5 or higher GPA is required to make the Commissioner’s Roll.
UNH led America East in two sports with the most student-athletes named to the Honor Roll in women’s cross country (24) and men’s cross country (20).
New Hampshire ranked fifth in total percentage with 65.7 percent of all student-athletes making the America East Fall Honor Roll behind the University of Maine, Binghamton University, the University of Hartford and UMBC.
Approximately 63 percent of America East student-athletes competing in fall sports totaling 632 participants earned America East Honor Roll distinction. Of the 632 students-athletes cited, 322 earned Commissioner’s Roll status.
