CAMBRIDGE, MASS.
- Senior Kyle Urso (Lombard, Ill.) has been selected to the America East 2008 Men’s Soccer All-Academic Team, as announced by the conference Thursday afternoon.
    This season, Urso started in all 18 games and leads the squad in assists with five. Additionally, he has tallied four goals, two of which were game-winners, for 13 total points.

    VESTAL, N.Y. - Binghamton University’s Keith Cameron delivered a goal and added two assists to lift the third-seeded Bearcats past the sixth-seeded University of New Hampshire men’s soccer team, 3-1, ousting the Wildcats from the America East Playoffs in the quarterfinal round at the Bearcats Sports Complex on Saturday evening.
    The Wildcats conclude their season with a record of 7-7-4, including 2-4-2 in America East action, while the Bearcats, who will take on No. 2 Albany on Wednesday, Nov. 12 at 1 p.m. in the second semifinal game, improve to 11-5-3, 5-3-0 in conference play.

    This season, Urso started in all 17 games and leads the squad in assists with five. Additionally, he has tallied four goals, two of which were game-winners, for 13 total points. Urso, who was been selected as the America East “Man of the Match” in five of eight conference games, notched a goal in the Wildcats’ 1-1 tie against Stony Brook (Oct. 22) and earned an assist in the game against the America East regular-season champions, Boston University (Oct. 18).

DuBois (Acworth, N.H.) tallied his first goal of the 2008 season and sophomore goalkeeper Chris Devine (Hampton, N.H.) tallied a career-high eleven saves, but it was not enough as the University of New Hampshire men’s soccer team fell to Dartmouth, 2-1, on Tuesday evening.  
    The Wildcats wrap up the regular-season with a record of 7-6-4, while the Big Green improve to 9-5-1.

DURHAM, N.H.- The University of New Hampshire men's soccer team, seeded No. 6 in the America East Championships, will travel to No. 3-seeded Binghamton.  The match is set for Sat., Nov. 8 at 7 p.m.
    The Wildcats defeated UMBC in dramatic fashion Wed., Oct. 29, 3-2, to garner the final playoff spot. Boston University finished as the regular-season champions and will have a bye in the first round, as wil No. 2-seeded Albany. No. 4 Vermont and No. 5 Hartford will play in Burlington, Vt. on Sat., Nov. 8 at 1 p.m..

    DURHAM, N.H.- With five minutes left in regulation and the University of New Hampshire men’s soccer team down by a goal, the Wildcats notched two goals in less than two minutes to secure the final spot in the America East tournament. Sophomore Dylan George (Bangor, Maine) tallied a goal and an assist to propel the Wildcats to a 3-2 must-win victory over UMBC on Wednesday evening at Bremner Field.
    With the win the Wildcats will be seeded sixth in the playoffs as they finish the America East regular season with a conference record of 2-4-2. The Wildcats, with one non-conference game remaining are 7-5-4 overall, while the Retrievers fall to 6-8-2 and 1-5-1 in America East play.

    STONY BROOK, N.Y.- Senior Kyle Urso (Lombard, Ill.) notched his fourth goal of the season and sophomore goalkeeper Colin O’Donnell (Springfield, Mass.) tallied a career-tying six saves as the University of New Hampshire men’s soccer team tied Stony Brook, 1-1, on Wednesday evening. 
    The Wildcats, who have battled the Seawolves in overtime each of the past three seasons, adjust to 6-4-4, including 1-4-1 in America East action. The tie puts the Seawolves at 2-11-3 and still with out a win in conference play, 0-4-2.

    DURHAM, N.H.- Sophomore Joe Corsello (York, Maine), a back for the University of New Hampshire men’s soccer team, netted his first collegiate goal, but a tally by the Terriers in the final minutes of regulation gave Boston University the 2-1 edge and the victory on Saturday afternoon at Lewis Fields.
    With the loss, the Wildcats fall to 6-4-3, 1-3-1 in the America East, while the Terriers improve to 7-5-2, including 4-1-0 in conference action.
    The Wildcats took advantage of a corner by Kyle Urso (Lombard, Ill.) 18 minutes into the game. A cluster of players in front of the net jumped up to play the cross in the air. The ball, however, fell past everyone and onto the foot of Corsello who tapped it past Boston University goalkeeper Hrafn Davidsson at 27:06. The goal was the first against Davidsson since Oct. 4, 2008, ending a three-game shutout streak for the Terriers.
