UNH Cheerleading Places Sixth Overall at NCA Collegiate Cheer & Dance Championship

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The University of New Hampshire All-Girl cheer team finished in sixth place overall in the 2014 NCA Collegiate Cheer Championship Finals with a final score of 90.98.

Sam Houston State University took home the championship title with a 95.63, followed by Morgan State University with a score of 94.78.

"We are very proud of this team and all that they have overcome," said Head Coach Amanda Temple.  "Their positive attitudes and hard work are what set this team apart and I am looking forward to building upon this year's success for the future."  The sixth-placed finish is Temple's first national title coaching at the NCA Collegiate Nationals. 

Try-outs for 2014-15 cheer squad will be held on May 3rd & 4th at the Field House in Durham, N.H. Click here for more information.
