UNH Football Falls to Richmond, 27-17

Richmond, VA - The UNH Wildcat football team fell to 1-3 (1-3 Atlantic 10) after falling to the University of Richmond, 27-17, earlier today.

Senior Dan Curran (19 carries, 79 yards) ran for a 6 yard touchdown that helped close the Spider lead to 13-10 at the half. Curran would later add a receiving touchdown on a 6-yard pass from sophomore Ryan Day to close out the scoring in the game.

Richmond was led offensively by running back Ron Patterson who ran 33 times for 186 yards, including an 18-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter that put the Spiders up 27-10.

With the win, Richmond improves to 2-2 overall and 1-1 in the Atlantic 10.

The Wildcats return home on Saturday, October 2 for a non-conference battle with Stephen F. Austin at noon.
