The son of Ian Young and Caroline Kinville...born 9-12-88 in Exeter, N.H... an undeclared major... his brother, Brett, plays football at St. Lawrence University.

At UNH
2009    • Enters his third season as a regular at defensive tackle.
           • Slated to start the 2009 season.
2008    • Played in 12 games for the Wildcats.
           • Compiled 35 tackles, 17 solo and 18 assisted.
           • Racked up 5.5 tackles for a loss of 15 yards.
           • Forced two fumbles and recovered one fumble.
2007    • Saw action in all 12 contests for the Wildcats.
           • Started games down the stretch due to injuries to gain more valuable game experience.
           • Recorded 16 tackles (3-13-16).
           • Had one tackle for a loss, one sack and a fumble recovery.
2006    • Redshirted the season.

Before UNH
• Lettered in football, basketball and track at Spaulding High School.
• A two-time captain at SHS.
• Named team MVP.
• A first-team all-state selection in Division 2.
• Named second-team All-New Hampshire as a tight end by “The Union Leader”.
