TIGHT END SCOTT SICKO SIGNS AS A FREE AGENT WITH THE NFL'S DALLAS COWBOYS

DURHAM, N.H.— Senior tight end Scott Sicko (Stillwater, N.Y.) of the University of New Hampshire football team has signed a free agent contract to join the NFL's Dallas Cowboys.

The 6-4, 255-pounder was UNH's top receiver in 2010, making 57 catches for 725 yards and 9 touchdown catches.

A team captain, he averaged 55.8 receiving yards per game and 12.7 yards per catch last season. He has been named an All-American in 2007, 2008 and 2009 and helped to lead the Wildcats to NCAA FCS Playoff appearances in every one of his years at UNH.

Sicko had been projected as one of the top 20 tight ends in the nation and was named one of the top 14 “Super Sleepers” overall by Sports Illustrated. He especially impressed scouts when he ran a 4.55 in the 40 during his Pro Day.

He will be headed to Dallas and joining the team on Friday.
