DURHAM, N.H. – The 14th-ranked University of New Hampshire football team concludes preseason camp with the annual fall Blue-White scrimmage Tuesday, Aug. 21, beginning at 12 p.m. at Cowell Stadium. Admission is free to the public. The offense features captain Chris Zarkoskie (West Caldwell, N.J.) and All-CAA honorees Ricky Archer (The Plains, Va.) and Seamus O'Neill (Manchester, N.H.) in the trenches and two other CAA selections at wide receiver – R.J. Harris (Odenton, Md.) and Joey Orlando (Bethlehem, Pa.). The defensive unit is led by captains Matt Evans (Hanover, Mass.) and Alan Buzbee (Chester, N.J.), both of whom are senior linebackers. Evans received a plethora of accolades last season that included the Buck Buchanan Award as the nation's top defensive player. Following Tuesday's intrasquad game, the Wildcats will turn their attention to the 2012 season opener at the College of the Holy Cross on Thursday, Aug. 30 (7:30 p.m.).
