RICHMOND, Va. – The University of New Hampshire/James Madison football game at Cowell Stadium (Nov. 9, 12:30 p.m.) will be one of five CAA football games broadcast nationally on NBC Sports Network (NBCSN) in 2013, the league announced Thursday.
UNH's home matchup against JMU represents the Wildcats' inaugural appearance on NBC Sports Network, the 24/7 cable platform for NBC Sports that is available in nearly 80 million homes. NBC Sports is also live streaming NBC Sports Network's live-event coverage to digital, mobile and tablet users via its NBC Sports Live Extra platform. All NBCSN games will be live streamed via TV Everywhere, the media industry's effort to make quality content available to authenticated customers both in and out of the home and on multiple platforms.
CAA football will begin its second year of a five-year broadcast agreement with the NBC Sports Network this fall.
In addition to the five games scheduled on NBCSN, 13 CAA Football games will be offered on select NBC Sports Regional Networks. Telecast networks and times for those 13 additional contests will be announced at a later date. For more information, visit caafootball.com.
UNH, the 2012 CAA football co-champion, opens the season at Central Michigan of the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) on Saturday, Sept. 7. Opening kickoff at Kelly/Shorts Stadium is scheduled for 3 p.m. on ESPN3.
