Katie White

Katie White (Glens Falls, N.Y.), a senior midfielder on the University of New Hampshire field hockey team, was selected to play in the 2005 NFHCA Division I North/South Senior All-Star Game that will be held Nov. 19 at the University of Louisville in Louisville, Ky. Game time is 7:30 p.m.

White, who will represent the North team, leads UNH in goals (nine) and points (20), and she ranks third in the America East conference in points per game as well as fourth in goals per game. White currently ranks third on the program's all-time goals list (41) and tied for fourth in points (86). Her career highlights include a 21-goal, 44-point effort in the 2003 season, and both those numbers rank second on UNH's list of single-season superlatives.

Katilyn Skelley (Wolfeboro, N.H.), also a senior midfielder, was named one of five alternates for the North squad. Skelley has recorded 10 points this season with four goals and two assists in starting all 16 games. Those numbers rank second on the team in goals and third in points. She was a back in her freshman and sophomore years before converting to midfield in 2004, when she led the team in goals (seven) and tied for the team lead in points.

UNH returns to action Oct. 21 (3 p.m.) at Vermont. The next Wildcat home game is Oct. 23 vs. Boston College. Game time at Memorial Field is 1 p.m.
