Evans, Maguire Named Jim Urquhart Student-Athletes of Year
DURHAM, N.H. – Matt Evans (Hanover, Mass.) of the football team and Keely Maguire (Georgetown, Mass.) of the women’s track and field team were named the 2012-13 recipients of the Jim Urquhart Student-Athlete of the Year award by the UNH athletic department.

Field Hockey Receives Academic Accolades From NFHCA
CHANDLER, Ariz. – The UNH field hockey team received a 2012 Gladiator by SGI/NFHCA Division I National Academic Team Award and nine Wildcats were named to the 2012 Gladiator by SGI/NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad.

Field Hockey Awards Student-Athletes at Annual Team Banquet
DURHAM, N.H. – The UNH field hockey program held its annual team banquet to celebrate the accomplishments of the 2012 team and student-athletes. The event was held last Saturday, Feb. 20 to hand out the awards as well as honor the senior class.

DURHAM, N.H. – Robin Balducci, 22nd-year head coach of the UNH field hockey team, announced Thursday that four student-athletes signed a National Letter of Intent to attend UNH in the Fall 2013 semester and play for the Wildcats’ field hockey team.

DURHAM, N.H. – UNH goalkeeper Carlie Tarbell recorded 11 saves -- one less than her career-high -- but the 20th ranked Wildcats were defeated 3-1 by 21st-ranked Albany in Sunday afternoon’s America East Field Hockey Championship title game at Memorial Field.

Eight Field Hockey Players Receive America East Accolades; Wildcats Named Coaching Staff of the Year
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Eight student-athletes on the 20th-ranked UNH field hockey team received a total of 11 America East conference awards, including junior back Megan Bozek (Cortlandt Manor, N.Y.) as Defensive Player of the Year, the league announced Wednesday afternoon. Head coach Robin Balducci and her staff was voted Coaching Staff of the Year for the third consecutive year.
