CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — Travis Worra (Lancaster, Pa.) a freshman goalkeeper for the University of New Hampshire men's soccer team, was honored as the America East Rookie of the Week by the conference for the second straight week Monday afternoon.

Worra takes home the honors after leading the Wildcats to a first place finish in the 22nd Annual Nike Fall Classic for the third straight year. Worra and the UNH backline shut out Air Force (Sept. 23) and Hartwick (Sept. 25) along the way, as the Wildcats extended their winning streak to three games.
For his impressive performances over the weekend Worra was selected as the tournament MVP and was also named to the All-Tournament team. The freshman keeper picked up five saves combined over the weekend, including three against an Air Force offense that is averaging 2.8 goals per game this season.
He currently ranks second in the league in shutouts with three, while also ranking fourth in save percentage (.750), goals against average (1.14) and saves per game (3.43).
Worra and the Wildcats are back in action when they kick off their conference slate Friday, Sept. 30 against Stony Brook (3:30 p.m.) at Lewis Fields.
