DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire men's and women's track and field teams return from winter break Saturday, Jan. 18 when they host Holy Cross for a home dual-meet. The meet will open with the men's high jump at 11:00 a.m. followed by the women's high jump. View full event schedule HERE.

On the women's side, sophomore Lauren Perrodin (Coral Springs, Fla.) looks to lead the Wildcats following a school-record performance in the Dec. 7 season opener against the University of Maine. Perrodin notched a school-record 55-meter dash time of 7.20 seconds to help pace the Wildcats to a 111-77 victory over Maine.

Junior Jessica Salley (Andover, Mass.) will compete in her second meet of the season for UNH. Salley registered a second-place finish in the high jump for the Wildcats against Maine, recording a 5-foot 5.75-inch mark to capture second.

Senior captain and distance runner Elise Beattie (Woodstock, Ill.) also looks to provide a spark for the Wildcats against Holy Cross. Beattie is set to compete in her first indoor meet of the season after playing a crucial part in the cross country team's America East Conference Championship this fall.

On the men's side, John Prizzi (Wyckoff, N.J.) aims to take the lead for UNH against Holy Cross. Prizzi will compete in his second meet of the indoor season. The junior was named America East Track Athlete of the Week Dec. 17 after placing first in the 3000-meter run during Northeastern University's Jay Carisella Carnival. Prizzi posted a NEICAAA provisional qualifying time of eight-minutes and 27.33-second time to take first.

Senior thrower George Jumpp (Manchester, N.H.), who placed in five events during the 2012-13 indoor campaign, will compete in his third meet of the young season for UNH. Jumpp opened the season with a second place finish in the weight throw (16.78-meters) against Maine and placed third in the weight throw (16.28-meters) at Northeastern University's Jay Carisella Carnival.

Sophomore D'Mahl McFadden (Penacook, N.H.) looks to lead UNH sprinters into Saturday's meet. McFadden will be participating in his third meet of the season after competing in both the UNH-Maine meet and the Jay Carisella Carnival earlier this season. McFadden has placed in three events so far this season, taking second place in the 55-meter hurdles (7.61 seconds) against Maine, second in the 200-meter dash (23.18 seconds) vs. Maine, and third in the 55-meter dash (6.63 seconds) against Maine.

This marks the second and final meet UNH will host in the indoor season. The Wildcats are set to host three meets during the outdoor season: a tri-meet against Holy Cross and Maine on April 5th, the UNH Wildcat Invitational on April 12th, and the America East Pre-Conference Meet on April 26th.
