New Hampshire men's track competes at Husky Invitational

DEDHAM, Mass. - The University of New Hampshire men's track team had several strong performances at the Northeastern University Husky Invitational on Saturday, including a pair of first-place finishes by sophomore Chad Grover (Waterville, Mass.) in the pole vault (4.57m) and junior Joil Bergeron (Keene, N.H) in the shot put (14.33m).

Also having a strong meet for the 'Cats were junior Andrew Thompson (Freedom, N.H.), who placed third in the hammer throw (53.48m), senior Jared Burke (Salem, N.H.), who took second in the pole vault (4.57m), freshman Riley Ohlson (Reading, Mass.), who was sixth in the triple jump (12.61m) and 10th in the high jump (1.83m), junior John Teator (West Hartford, Conn.), fourth in the triple jump (12.90m) and senior Dan Hocking (Merrimack, N.H.), who took third in the 1,500m (3:58.70).

The Wildcats return action at the Drake Relays (April 27-29) in Des Moines, Iowa on Friday.
