Taylor leads men's track at ICAAAA Championships

PRINCETON, N.J. - Gregory Taylor (Allentown, Pa.) headlined a small University of New Hampshire men's track and field contingent at the ICAAAA Championships, which were held at Princeton University's Weaver Track and Field Stadium from May 16-18.

Taylor, the 2003 America East champion in the triple jump and runner-up in that event at the New England Championships, just missed out on points by placing ninth in the triple jump with a distance of 47 feet-11 inches.

The 4x800 relay team of Brandon Williams (Hooksett, N.H.), Erik Travis (Durham, N.H.), Anthony Truax (Dover, N.H.) and Robert Stiles (Southbury, Conn.) combined to run a time of 7 minutes, 44.49 seconds in the preliminaries and did not advance to the final heat.
