MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY GARNERS NCAA DIVISION 1 ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM HONORS
INDIANAOPOLIS, Ind. – The defending America East men’s cross country champions from the University of New Hampshire added another accolade to its successful 2006 campaign as the program garnered NCAA Division 1 All-Academic Team honors. It was announced on Tuesday.
      The All-Academic Board of the National Collegiate Division 1 Men’s Cross Country Coaches Association honors and appraises the academic and athletic performance of collegiate cross country teams throughout the United States for their scholarly achievements throughout the academic year.
     The Wildcats captured their fourth conference championship of the decade and placed ninth overall at the prestigious ICAAAA’s held at Van Cortland Park in New York. In addition to the success at those meets, the Wildcats posted a 13th place effort at the NCAA Northeast Regionals in November.
