MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY PLACES SIXTH AT BC INVITATIONAL

BOSTON – Junior Alex Beaulieu (Merrimack, N.H.) and sophomore Kent Harlow (Burnt Hills, N.Y.) placed 20th and 21st, respectively, to lead the University of New Hampshire men's cross country team to a sixth-place finish at the Boston College Invitational on Saturday afternoon at Franklin Park.

The Wildcats finished with 153 points, while Northeastern University won the meet with 29 points.

Beaulieu crossed the finish line in a time of 26 minutes, while Harlow completed the eight-kilometer run in 26:05.

Freshman Joseph Jourdain (Hudson, N.H.) and sophomore Patrick Taft (Hanson, Mass.) finished inside the top 40 for the 'Cats, placing 37th and 40th, respectively, in times of 26:29 and 26:41.

The Wildcats return to action Friday, Sept. 24 at 4 p.m. when they travel north to take on the University of Maine.
