DURHAM, N.H. – Maureen Magarity, who will be entering her third season as head coach of the UNH women’s basketball team in 2012-13, was one of 30 college women’s basketball coaches who completed the Center for Coaching Excellence seminar that was held June 13.

Beliveau Nominated for America East Woman of the Year
DURHAM, N.H. – Senior Denise Beliveau (Framingham, Mass.) of the UNH women’s basketball team has been nominated for the 2012 America East Woman of the Year Award, announced by the conference Tuesday afternoon. Beliveau is one of 11 institutional nominees for the annual honor, which recognizes the league’s senior female student-athletes that best exemplified a commitment to service, leadership, athletics and academics during their collegiate careers.

Women's Basketball Announces Three Summer Camps in June
DURHAM, N.H. – The UNH women’s basketball program has announced that it will hold three camps in late June at UNH’s Lundholm Gymnasium, the home of Wildcats basketball. The Women’s Basketball Day Camp is June 25-28, the Women’s Basketball Shooting Camp will be June 26 & 28 and the stretch of camps concludes with the Wildcat Elite Weekend from June 29–July 1.

Women's Basketball Honored at Annual Awards Banquet
DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire women’s basketball team closed out the 2011-12 season with its annual awards banquet Saturday afternoon at Cartelli’s restaurant in Dover. The team awards were handed out and the three-player senior class was recognized as school administrators, family members and the coaching staff joined the Wildcat players to celebrate the most recent campaign.
