WAKEFIELD, Mass. – The UNH women’s ice hockey team had a league-high 16 representatives on the Women’s Hockey East All-Academic Team and the men’s team recorded the second highest total of 15 on the Hockey East All-Academic Team.

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Senior forward Kristina Lavoie (Fonthill, Ontario) notched the game winning goal on a power play with 1:34 remaining in New Hampshire’s 4-3 win at Syracuse Friday afternoon. The win puts the Wildcats at 1-0-0 in their first game while the Orange fall to 0-1-0. Sara Carlson (Hutchinson, Minn.) had a goal and an assist in the game.
