Rob Day, who has been coachinggoalies for 25 years, joined the UNH women's ice hockey coachingstaff as a volunteer assistant for the 2011-12 season. He hasserved as the goalie coach for the NH Junior Monarchs (EJHL) forthe past 12 seasons and has helped many of their goaltenders moveon to the collegiate level.
Day's company, Puckstoppers Goaltending, which has locations inNew Hampshire, Massachusetts and Maine, has helped a number ofgoalies achieve their dreams of college and professional hockey.Six received NCAA All-America (D1 and D3) recognition over the pastseven years, many have been league all-stars and several haverepresented the U.S. in international competition. Hisprotégés have also been successful at the prep andhigh school levels.
Day has also served as a lecturer for USA Hockey and a writer forseveral hockey publications.
Day is a graduate of WorcesterPolytechnic Institute.
