Women's Lacrosse's Kate Keagins Named IWLCA All-Star
DOWNINGTON, Pa. – University of New Hampshire senior women’s lacrosse player Kate Keagins (Bay Shore, N.Y.) has been selected to participate in the IWLCA Champions’ Cup Division I North-South Senior All-Star Game, which is slated for June 16 at the United Sports Training Center in Downington, Pa.

DURHAM, N.H. – A total of nine student-athletes received 11 awards at the University of New Hampshire women’s lacrosse team banquet that was held Sunday at Huddleston Hall Ballroom. The program also paid tribute to the four-member senior class.

Women's Lax Announces Two Summer Camps In Late June
DURHAM, N.H. – The UNH women’s lacrosse program has announced that it will hold two camps simultaneously in the last week of June. The Climbing Cat Summer Lacrosse Day Camp and the Top Cat Elite Lacrosse Overnight Camp will both be held June 25-28.

Women's Lax Quintet Receives America East Year-End Accolades
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Kate Keagins (Bay Shore, N.Y.), a senior midfielder and captain on the UNH women’s lacrosse team, highlighted a total of five Wildcats who received conference recognition with her selection to the America East All-Conference First Team, the league announced Wednesday. Earlier in the week, Keagins was announced the 2012 America East Women’s Lacrosse Fans’ Choice Player of the Year.

NEWTON, Mass. – Laura Puccia (Fairport, N.Y.) scored three goals to extend her goal-scoring streak to 10 games and team-high total to 34, but the UNH women’s lacrosse team was defeated 11-6 Tuesday afternoon by 18th-ranked Boston College at Newton Sports Complex.

Keagins Voted 2012 America East Women's Lacrosse Fans' Choice Player of the Year
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Kate Keagins (Bay Shore, N.Y.), a senior midfielder and captain on the UNH women’s lacrosse team, was announced the recipient of the 2012 America East Women’s Lacrosse Fans’ Choice Player of the Year award. Voting was conducted on the America East Facebook page from May 24-30.

Women's Lax Edged 12-10 at Stony Brook
STONY BROOK, N.Y. – In a game that the UNH needed to win to advance to the America East Championship tournament, the Wildcats built a 9-5 halftime lead but were outscored 7-1 in the second half as Stony Brook University rallied to defeat UNH, 12-10, Saturday afternoon at LaValle Stadium.

STANFORD, Calif. – Kate Keagins (Bay Shore, N.Y.) recorded a season-high five points, including the goal that tied the score with 17:06 remaining, but the UNH women’s lacrosse team was outscored 3-1 the rest of the way as 20th-ranked Stanford outlasted the Wildcats to prevail 15-13 Sunday afternoon at Cagan Stadium.

Bryant University and Merrimack College will be at the event, which will be held at Memorial Field from 5:30-8:30 p.m.
