Women’s Track Participates in Day One of New England Championships

BOSTON, Mass. - Three members of the University of New Hampshire women's track and field team qualified for final events during Friday's opening day of the New England Indoor Track and Field Championships at the Boston University Track and Tennis Center.

Sophomore Lauren Perrodin (Coral Springs, Fla.) and senior Allison Brehm (Pembroke, N.H.) both finished in the top-10 of the 60-meter dash to qualify for Saturday's finals. Perrodin took sixth in 7.74-seconds and Brehm claimed 10th with a mark of 7.81-seconds.

Junior Virginia Lavallee (Kingston, N.H.) also posted a qualifying time for UNH. Lavallee took ninth in the 60-meter hurdles, logging a time of 9.09-seconds to advance to Saturday's finals.
