BOSTON — Kristen Meisner (Nashua, N.H.) broke the school record in the 500-meter and Leighann Carpenter (Princeton, Mass.) bested her own previous record in the 800m as the University of New Hampshire women's track and field team competed at last weekend's ECAC Championships at the Reggie Lewis Track and Field Facility.

ORONO, Maine – Melissa Murphy took first place in the 60-yard dash and finished second in the 200-meter dash, but the University of New Hampshire women’s indoor track and field team was defeated by the University of Maine, 102-89, last weekend in the 2003-04 season opener for the Wildcats.




KINGSTON, R.I. – Chloe Harry (Tyler, Texas) and Lauren Knight (Cape Cod, Mass.) of the University of New Hampshire women’s indoor track and field team finished in fifth and sixth place, respectively, at Friday’s 10th Annual Rhode Island Pentathlon at Mackal Field House. It was the first event of the 2003-04 season for the UNH indoor track team.
