NEW ORLEANS – The University of New Hampshire women’s track and field program was one of 97 programs to be named to the 2007 U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Division I All-Academic Team as announced on Wednesday.

The Wildcats posted a grade point average of 3.18 and were one of three America East institutions to be named to this prestigious team honor. Binghamton University and University of Vermont were the other two programs named to the team.

To be nominated the team must carry a minimum of 3.00 GPA.

UNH rounded out another stellar season with a second place finish at the America East Championships held on the campus of UMBC ON May 5.
