BOSTON - The University of New Hampshire women's volleyball team dropped a 3-2 decision to Northeastern University Saturday afternoon at Solomon Court. The Wildcats saw their four game winning streak snapped and now stand at 11-10 overall and 2-1 in America East play. The Huskies improve 15-6 and 3-0 in league action. The game scores were 32-34, 30-18, 30-23, 31-29, 15-13.

Senior Alyson Coler (Monte Sereno, Calif.) paced the Wildcat offense, registering a match-high 26 kills while also recording 12 defensive digs and four blocks. Natasha Otte (Plymouth, N.H.) and Erin Walker (Fulton, N.Y.) each recorded 13 kills, while Erin Ludwig (Franklin Lakes, N.J.) chipped in with 11.

Jen Williams (Mountain View, Calif.) led UNH with 19 defensive digs. Katie Weidner (Warrenville, Ill.) and Anne Davis (Groveland, Ill.) split setting duties, with Wiedner recording 40 assists and Davis 22. Weidner also had 12 digs, along with Sasha Scott (North Branford, Conn.).

Karrin Moore and Larissa Adomat had 23 and 20 kills, respectively, for the Huskies, while Kristin Ursillo had a match-high 61 assists.

The New Hampshire women's volleyball team returns to action on Friday (October 17) when it hosts Hartford in a 7:00 game at Lundholm Gymnasium. That game can be heard live on the UNH Sports Network.
