WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY EDGED BY MAINE IN DUAL MEET

ORONO, Maine - Junior Allison Letourneau (Kingston, Nova Scotia) and sophomore Elizabeth Campbell (Colonia, N.J.) placed third and fourth, respectively, but the University of New Hampshire women's cross country team lost to the University of Maine in a dual meet Friday afternoon.

The Wildcats finished with 30 points, while the Black Bears totaled 25.

Letourneau turned in a time of 18 minutes, 15 seconds, while Campbell crossed the finish at 18:28.

Junior Erica Jesseman (Scarborough, Maine) was close behind in sixth place with a time of 18:40.

The Wildcats return to action Friday, Oct. 2 at the Paul Short Invitational at Lehigh University.
