The Terriers took a 1-0 lead 1:23 into the first period on a goal by Maddie Elia, her second of the season. The play started with Savannah Newton sliding a pass over to Rebecca Leslie. Lesie found Elia who fired a shot past UNH netminder Kyra Smith (Littleton, Colo.).
Junior Carlee Toews (Grand Prairie, Alberta) leveled the score at 1-1 at 16:07 of the first period with her first goal of the season. Lexie Revkin (Gaithersburg, Md.) set up the play as she found Meghara McManus (Milton, Mass.) on the play. McManus found Toews who blasted a shot past BU goalie Erin O'Neil.
Natasza Tarnowski gave the Terriers a 2-1 lead at the 2:57 mark of the second period with her first goal of the season. Connor Galway initiated the play by saucering a pass to Sammy Davis. Davis found Tarnowski who would finalize the play.
Victoria Bach increased the BU lead to 3-1 at 9:21 of the second period. She scored her first goal of the season as Mary Parker got the assist on the play. Samantha Sutherland scored the next two goals for BU, one at 9:02 of the third and the other at 19:03 of the third. Assisting on her fist goal was Savannah Newton and Sarah Steele while on the second goal, Sammy Davis and Alexandra Calderone earned the assists.
