Baddick, Lui, Miele Sign NLIs to Join Class of 2022
DURHAM, N.H. - Head Coach Gail Goodspeed of the University of New Hampshire women's gymnastics program announced three student-athletes signed national letters of intent to join the Wildcats as members of the Class of 2022. Hannah Baddick of Gettysburg, Pa., Hailey Lui of Collegeville, Pa., and Mariella Miele of Basking Ridge, N.J., will join the 'Cats next fall.
"We are very excited to welcome these student-athletes as new members of our Wildcat family," said Goodspeed. "We expect each one to help us achieve our goals and continue to improve throughout their four years."
Baddick, who trains at Frederick Gymnastics Club in Frederick, Md., is a two-time national competitor and a four-time regional and state qualifier who finished third in all-around at the 2014 Eastern National Championships and captured the 2013 Eastern National all-around championship.
Coach Goodspeed
"Hannah is a strong competitor who can make a big impact on the team. We look forward to her competing on vault, beam and floor and fighting to make her way into the bar lineup."
Lui, who competes for Silvia's Gymnastics in Zieglerville, Pa., is a three-time regional and state qualifier and a 2014 Eastern National competitor.
Coach Goodspeed
"Hailey is a beautiful gymnast with long lines and elegant dance. We look forward to her contributing on at least bars, beam and floor."
Miele, a member of North Stars Gymnastics Academy in Boonton, N.J., is a three-time Level 10 regional and state qualifier and a 2014 Eastern National all-around champion.
Coach Goodspeed
"Mariella has clean lines and could fight for a spot on vault, beam and floor."
