- New Hamsphire played a very strong second half. The Wildcats generated sizable advantages in both shots (8-2) and penalty corners (4-0).
- UNH was awarded a corner at the end of regulation, but BU blocked the shot off the stick of Nicky Bajus (Lions Bay, British Columbia) and cleared the ball to secure the win.

"For us to hold them to zero penalty corners, to have that much possession time in the second half and generate the scoring chances we had – this is something we can build on."
