WHITTEMORE CENTER – Google maps – Parking maps The Whittemore Center, which had a state-of-the-art center hung videoboard installed this past summer, has been home to the UNH men’s and women’s ice hockey teams since the 1995-96 season. The Whitt was the site of the Women’s Frozen Four in both 2002 and 2005. The Women’s Hockey East Championship tournament was held at the Whitt twice (2007, 2009), and the venue has also been the site of four NCAA women’s hockey regional games (2006, ‘07, ‘08, ‘09). NCAA Women's Ice Hockey Championship The selection show announcing the field of eight teams in the NCAA tournament was held March 6. Here are the quarterfinal matchups. The Top 3 Finalists – Alex Carpenter (Boston College), Kendall Coyne (Northeastern University) and Ann-Renee Desbiens (Wisconsin) – were announced March 3 and will be in attendace at the ceremony. Tickets can be purchased online by clicking here, by calling (603) 862-4000 or in person at the Whittemore Center Box Office. The all-session package includes a ticket to both the March 18 semifinal games and the March 20 national championship game. All-session chairback / adult -- $35 All-session bench seat / adult -- $25 All-session bench seat / student, senior, youth -- $20 Group, 20 or more -- $15 per seat Single-session tickets are also available. You can buy a ticket for just the March 18 semifinal games or just the March 20 championship game. The cost is $20 for an adult single-session bench seat and $25 for an adult single-session chairback seat.
