Christina Corbett joined the Wildcats in 2012 after graduating from Wantagh High School (Wantagh, NY). She cheered with the varsity cheerleading team at Wantagh High School for three years and competed on a Level 5 All-Star team for four years. During her freshman year, she was one of only two freshman to make the Wantagh Varsity team. She also cheered for the New York Cheer All Stars, who received an At Large bid to Worlds, competed at the 2009 All Star Cheerleading World Championship in the small senior limited coed division and placed first at Battle of the Boardwalk Nationals. During her sophomore year, she cheered for Island Xtreme All Stars, who had an undefeated season and placed first at the US Finals and was the 2010 Champion in the international all-girl division. The team won first place at Cheer Tech Nationals, Philadelphia New Year’s Nationals, and Cheer New York Nationals where they also took home Grand Champion. During her junior year, Island Xtreme received an At-Large bid to the 2011 All-Star Cheerleading World Championship, where they competed in the large international coed division. Her team won first place at East Coast Nationals, Reach the Beach Nationals, and Cheer New York Nationals that same year. In her senior year, Island Xtreme again received an At-Large bid to Worlds’ and competed in the small Co-ed division.
Corbett is the daughter of Lisa Corbett and Chris Corbett, and has one brother, Sean. She received the highest grade on the AP Photography Exam. She was on the merit roll her freshman, sophomore and junior year and the honor roll senior year. She was also a member of the Leadership Club.
