Mary LeRose, a former University of New Hampshire cheerleader,
was named Head Coach in April 2012.
LeRose supported the UNH Football, Volleyball, Men’s and
Women’s Basketball teams from 2008-2009. In addition,
she competed with the All-Girl Team at the National Cheerleading
Association Nationals in Daytona Beach, Florida, earning program
high 7th and 5th place finishes in 2008 and 2009 respectively.
Prior to UNH, she was a member of the University of Dayton Red
Spirit Squad supporting the UD Football, Volleyball, and
Women’s Basketball teams.
In high school, LeRose was a member of the Girls Varsity Basketball
Cheer Squad at Hamilton Southeastern High School in Fishers,
Indiana and a member of Kids’ Spirit All-Star Gym competing
in Jamsport, NCA and The American Cheer and Dance Championship
Competitions. For the 2001-2002 academic year, she attended
Monadnock Regional Junior/Senior High School in Swanzey, NH where
she was a member of the Varsity Cheerleading Team supporting the
MRHS Football and Basketball teams in addition to earning State
Runner-up at the NHIAA State Competition. LeRose got her
start in cheerleading with the Fishers All-Stars in 1995 under the
direction of Head Coach, Debbie Jackson.
LeRose earned her bachelor’s degree in Business
Administration with a focus in Marketing from UNH in 2009 and is
currently the Group Sales & Marketing Coordinator for UNH
Athletics.
