UNH FOOTBALL IMPROVES IN I-AA FOOTBALL NATIONAL POLLS

DURHAM, N.H.-The University of New Hampshire football team, which improved to 3-0 on the season after a victory over Dartmouth (42-38), also improved in both Division I-AA national polls with a placing of 19th in the ESPN/Sportsticker Poll and 20th in the poll conducted by The Sports Network.

In addition, the NCAA statistics came out today and sitting on the top of the rushing standings was UNH tailback Stephan Lewis and his 173.3 rushing yards per game. After three games played, Lewis has rushed the football 85 times for 520 yards and he is over halfway towards the 1,000-yard season milestone.

UNH's game at William & Mary this Saturday will feature a pair of top 25 teams from I-AA, as The Tribe was ranked 22nd in both polls. Game time is 1 p.m. in Williamsburg, Va.
