UNH FOOTBALL EARNS HIGHEST RANKING EVER (NO. 2) IN SPORTS NETWORK I-AA FOOTBALL POLL

PHILADELPHIA, PA-- The University of New Hampshire football team earned its highest ranking ever (No. 2) in this week's "Sports Network" I-AA College Football Poll.

The Wildcats, now 2-0 on the season, moved up from No. 3 to No. 2 following an impressive 62-21 victory on the road against Atlantic 10 foe Towson. UNH received 2,659 total points and 24 first-place votes, 85 points behind first-place Western Kentucky.

The Wildcats return to action on Sat., Sept. 24, when the squad entertains cross-state rival Dartmouth in the battle for the Granite Bowl Trophy. Game time is at 12 p.m. and the contest can be seen live on WMUR-TV (Channel 9) and heard live on the Wildcat Sports Radio Network.
