DURHAM, N.H.—Sophomore tight end Scott Sicko (Stillwater, N.Y.) was recently named a second-team All-American by the Sports Network and he was also chosen as a member of the SME Network “Stars Of The Year” listing.
Sicko, who was a favorite target of senior quarterback Ricky Santos (Bellingham, Mass.) this season, showed fans that he will be a strength of the UNH offense for the next few years. Sicko finished second on the Wildcat squad with 51 catches for 619 receiving yards (third-best on the squad), while he also scored on six touchdown receptions.
He started all 12 games for the wildcats this season and helped to lead the squad to its fourth consecutive appearance in the NCAA championships.
Sicko came to UNH from LaSalle Institute, where he made 70 receptions for 1,449 yds and caught 25 TD passes.
