The Son of Ron and Marie Strand...born 8-19-86 in Brooklyn, N.Y...a Sociology major...  his father, Ron, and uncle, Eli ,played football at Iowa State and his uncle went on to play in the NFL for Pittsburgh, Green Bay and New Orleans.

At UNH
2009    • Ronnie has improved every year and adds depth at tight end.
           • A big, tall target for UNH quarterbacks.
2008    • Added depth at tight end.
2007    • Added depth at tight end.
2006    • Saw limited playing time.
2005    • Redshirt season.

Before UNH
• Lettered in football, basketball and baseball at Tuckahoe High School.
• Led his team to regional championships in 2003.
• Named football team MVP.
• Named all-league.
• He was also all-league and all-state in basketball.
• Named THS Athlete of the Year  in 2004.
