UNH ALUMNI ASSOCIATION & ATHLETICS TO HOST PRE-GAME TAILGATE FOR WILDCAT FANS AT TOWSON

TOWSON, Md. – The University of New Hampshire football team will travel to Towson, Maryland on Saturday, October 3 to take on the Towson University Tigers. Kick-off time is set for 3:30 p.m.

Wildcat fans are encouraged to travel to Towson University to participate in a pre-game tailgating reception at Burdick Field and purchase tickets to cheer on the team from the UNH seating section of Johnny Unitas Stadium. The event will take place from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Tickets to the game and pre-game reception are $25, which will include food, beverage and cash bar.  UNH fans, parents, students, staff in attendance will be able to purchase Wildcat merchandise at the UNH Alumni Association Marketplace and enjoy a performance by the Wildcat Marching Band.  The event will be hosted by UNH D.C. Alumni Chapter and UNH Athletics.

Fans will have the opportunity to participate in a raffle.  Prizes include:

• Overnight stay for two at the Washington, D.C. Ritz Carlton
• Skybox at the D.C. Verizon Arena at one of the Washington Capitols Game
• Signed UNH Football Jersey

You have to be present at the pre-game tailgating reception to win these prizes.  All prizes were donated by UNH alums (Mike Hickey ’73, Elizabeth Mullins ’89, Sean McDonnell’78)

There are a limited number of tickets available to the pre-game reception, so fans are encouraged to take advantage of early registration.
