DURHAM, N.H. – University of New Hampshire junior tight end Chris Jeannot (Moon Township, Pa.) has been selected to the 2010 CoSIDA/ESPN Academic All-District football team. Jeannot, who is majoring in kinesiology: exercise science, has a cumulative 3.80 grade-point average.

As a member of the University Division All-District team, Jeannot will be placed on the national ballot for Academic All-America consideration. The Academic All-America team will be announced Tuesday, Nov. 23. Nominations and voting for the All-America programs are conducted by members of the College Sports Information Directors of America.

Jeannot ranks third on the Wildcats in receptions (21) in spite of having missed four games due to injury. He set career highs with 12 catches for 110 yards in UNH's loss at Pittsburgh on Sept. 11. Overall, Jeannot has compiled 181 receiving yards and one touchdown, averaging 45.2 receiving yards per game.
