DURHAM, N.H. – The inaugural University of New Hampshire Building Bridges Social for multicultural UNH students is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 29, from 4-6 p.m. at the Elliott Alumni Center.
This multicultural event is open to all students and their parents, alumni, friends and colleagues with the focus on building bridges on campus with student-athletes, students and prominent alumni. A light meal and soft drinks will be provided.
This event is sponsored by UNH Athletics and the Division of Student and Academic Services, which are strongly encouraging all multicultural students to attend the meet-and-greet and social networking event that will follow the UNH/Delaware football game (12 p.m.) at Cowell Stadium.
Anyone interested in attending the social is strongly encouraged to RVSP via email to UNH defensive ends coach Jon Shelton at email@example.com. Shelton is a member of one of the UNH President's Commissions. He is also the president of the Smart Male Athlete Reality Training (SMART) program, which focuses on sexual assault prevention among student-athletes.
