RICHMOND, Va. – The University of New Hampshire Homecoming football game against the University of Richmond, slated for Cowell Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 13 at 12 p.m., will be televised live on Comcast SportsNet Regional, the CAA announced Wednesday.
The UNH-Richmond rivalry, which dates back to 1986, is knotted at 10 wins apiece all-time. The Wildcats, who haven't lost a home matchup to the Spiders since 2000, are seeking a third straight victory in the series following a 17-0 Homecoming triumph Oct. 9, 2010 –a school-record 12th straight home victory- and last season's 45-43 win at Robins Stadium. This marks the third consecutive year UNH-Richmond will be broadcast on CSN.
That raises the total number of UNH telecasts in 2012 to five. The Wildcats, who will appear on the Big Ten Network for the first time ever when they visit Minnesota (Saturday, Sept. 8, 12 p.m.), are also slated to appear on Comcast SportsNet Regional for three other CAA league games: at Old Dominion (Saturday, Sept. 22, 12 p.m.); at Maine (Saturday, Oct. 20, 12 p.m.) and Senior Day at Cowell Stadium against Towson (Saturday, Nov. 17, 12 p.m.).
All game times are Eastern, and dates and opponents are subject to change. Check CAAFootball.com and local listings for specific channels. Here is a glance at the current UNH football TV schedule:
