New Hampshire field hockey felled by Dartmouth, 2-0

HANOVER, N.H. - Dartmouth College scored a goal in each half to record a 2-0 victory against the University of New Hampshire in Friday's field hockey action at Scully-Fahey Field.

UNH lost its sixth consecutive game to fall to 5-9. Dartmouth improved to 6-4.

The Big Green took a 1-0 lead at 15:57 of the first half on Rebekka Stucker's unassisted tally. Dartmouth's Caitlin Barrett scored with 14 seconds remaining in the game.

Freshman goalkeeper Christine Buckley (Walpole, Mass.) recorded seven saves defending the New Hampshire cage. DC's Kirsten Anderson stopped six shots.

New Hampshire returns to action Oct. 14 (1 p.m.) at Providence. UNH's next home game is the regular-season finale vs. Maine on Oct. 27 (1 p.m.).
