06/30/2004 DURHAM, N.H. — University of New Hampshire field hockey head coach Robin Balducci announced Wednesday that Stefanie Simeone (Stratham, N.H.) has enrolled at the University of New Hampshire for the Fall 2004 semester and will join the UNH field hockey team in August of this year.
03/04/2004 DURHAM, N.H. — Five student-athletes from the University of New Hampshire field hockey team were named to the 2003 NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad, the organization announced Wednesday. Senior assistant captain Julie Munson (Dover, N.H.) was joined on the team by freshmen Samantha Geary (Norwood, Mass.), Caitlin Gillen (New Preston, Conn.), Holly Schurk (Northford, Conn.) and Margaux Shute (Norridgewock, Maine).

09/07/2003 The University of New Hampshire dedicated Bigglestone Plaza at Memorial Field on Sunday, September 7. Gail Bigglestone (UNH '60) was the first Director of Women's Athletics at UNH and held that title for 14 years (1975-89). She was also an assistant professor of physical education and ski coach at New Hampshire. In recognition of her significant contributions to UNH athletics, Bigglestone was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1994.
