GYMNASTICS HOSTS NATIONALLY-RANKED PENN STATE SATURDAY

DURHAM, N.H. - The University of New Hampshire gymnastics team will host 20th-ranked Penn State in a dual meet on Saturday, February 9. The meet is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Lundholm Gymnasium.

UNH is coming off its best performance of the season, posting a 193.850 en route to winning the Fox Run Invitational for the third-straight season. Junior Jen Dickson (Salisbury, Md.) posted a personal-best all-around score of 39.050 in the meet while matching career highs on bars and floor exercise. Classmate Michelle Harley (Collegeville, Pa.) had her best performance of the 2002 campaign, registering an all-around total of 38.900.

The Nittany Lions, who are ranked 20th nationally according to average score, are coming off a win over Illinois last Saturday. Penn State last visited Durham in 2000, with UNH defeating PSU 194.700-193.800. Last season the Wildcats fell at Penn State.

The Wildcats will also be at home next weekend, as they host Alaska in a 1 p.m. meet at Lundholm Gymnasium on Feb. 16.
